Banana Cake With Creamy Frosting– Trying to make bananas fun for your kids? Then try this easy recipe which has a delicious cream cheese frosting. Here are the steps- 

 

  • Take 185 grams of butter and 3/4th cup of refined sugar and mix in an electric mixer. Keep beating till it is creamy and pale. You can add in a few drops of vanilla extract to make it fragrant and extra delicious. Then drop one egg at a time up to 3 eggs, till the mixture is creamy and pale. 
  • Fold in 1 and a cup of flour, with a teaspoon of baking powder and baking soda, a pinch of cinnamon, and three mashed bananas until they are mixed. 
  • Now, bake this in an oven at 180 degrees for 50 minutes till a fork inserted into the batter comes out clean. 
  • Prepare to frost while the cake is baking. Place some cream cheese and butter into a bowl of an electric mixer and add some icing sugar till it folds completely. 
  • Chill this, and the cake, and spread over for a delicious dessert! 

 

Pancakes– Dessert for breakfast? Now that is every child’s dream! Create the best fluffiest pancakes for the best sweet breakfast for your kids as a delicious treat they will remember for a while! 

 

  • Take a bowl, beat in an egg and wish 3/4th cups of milk. Now add in the sugar, or any alternative sweetening substance and control the amount of sugar depending on how sweet you like your pancakes, as you will have honey and maple drizzling over the pancakes. 
  • Next, sift in the flour and add a cup of it to the batter and mix it till it is lump free and smooth. 
  • Heat the pan first and then add in a teaspoon of butter over medium hit and pour in a 1/4th cup of the batter and let it bubble before you flip them! Just drizzle some honey, add in a dollop of fresh whipped cream and enjoy! 

 

Overnight French Toast– Another healthy and tasty dessert for breakfast is french toast! You can add in blueberries, to make it delicious, sweet and healthy for your kids! Your children will love and appreciate this delicious twist to french toast! 

 

  • This is a great recipe that you can make with a loaf of brioche bread that is perfect for french toast. Make this recipe the night before you want to eat so that it soaks in all the delicious flavour. 
  • Cut up the loaf in thick pieces and place them on a baking dish. 
  • Mix in the 2 eggs, ¼ cup sugar, 1 cup blueberries, 2 cups of milk, and 2 tbsps of vanilla in a large bowl. 
  • Spread this mixture evenly over the bread and cover with plastic wrap and let it chill. 
  • Next morning, just bake this in an oven at 180 degrees after removing the plastic and bake it for 35 minutes until golden brown. 
  • Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup and yoghurt for a healthy dessert for breakfast! 

 

Lemon Yoghurt Cake– A super easy one bowl lemon yoghurt cake for a perfect after-school snack or after-dinner dessert that is light and super tasty! 

 

  • In a bowl, combine zests of two lemons, ¾ cup flavourless oil, 2 cups sugar and 2 eggs. 
  • Mix 1 cup yoghurt, a pinch of salt, and three tablespoons of lemon juice and add to this mixture. 
  • Add in 2 cups of sifted flour to this mixture.  
  • Pour into a greased tin and bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. 
  • Cool the cake and then dust with icing sugar and serve! 

 

Banana Ice Cream Pops– Want to give your kids a treat, but want to remove the unnecessary sugar from the dessert? Then try these banana ice cream pops for the perfect way to end your meal! 

 

  • Peel and chop 4 large bananas and freeze them for at least 4 hours. 
  • Then, process these bananas in a food processor till they are mixed and grainy. 
  • Add a few drops of yellow food coloring and then combine again. 
  • Pour this mixture into ice pop molds and freeze overnight- at least 8 hours. 
  • Serve this the next day for some delicious and healthy after meal snack!
