This kiddie version of the hit competitive adult cooking show is a simple and entertaining watch for kids and parents alike. We love that money and success isn’t what drives these kids. There’s something lighter and enjoyable that is fuelling the participants of this show – a love for food. The judges are not mean or don’t put anyone down. 2. Nailed It

Most cooking shows are about winning, but Nailed It is more about… failing! Hilarious and fun, this show has participants who are amateur chefs recreating dishes – and not always successfully! Very different from the competitive shows we’re used to, Nailed It is good fun for the whole family!

Available on Netflix

3. Waffles + Mochi

With the Obamas involved, you know you’re likely to get something quite interesting. And that’s exactly what happened with Waffles + Mochi! Featuring Michelle Obama, this food show combines puppers, animation, and live action to tell stories about food from all over the world. Star-studded with celebrity chef appearances, this endearing show is sure to capture the hearts of even the fussiest eaters!

4. Food – Delicious Science

Dr. Michael Mosley and botanist James Wong dig into the science of food in this series. An interesting and engaging way to learn science – by learning about its direct applications in something like food, which is a part of everyone’s day-to-day life. Going over dishes from around the world, they deconstruct it and understand what goes behind making that food, from a science angle.

This show is a superb way to make kids more aware and understand food better!
