Kids Diney + Shows – The OTT revolution has truly transformed content consumption for our generation, and kids these days have easy access to a plethora of content available on these streaming platforms. Although it is good to be mindful of your kid’s screen time, educational and well-made content can have positive effects on your child. Here is our recommendation for the best shows on Disney Plus that your kid will enjoy! 

Growing Up Animal- This is a show based on nature, focusing on the life cycle and family relationships of different animals. It is a great introductory show if you wish to interest your kids in the world of nature and wilderness. Each episode focuses on a different mammal family, like elephants, chimps, sea lions, the works.  They delve into fascinating facts about the mammalian group, their lifestyle, how they procreate, etc.  By providing engaging visuals and high-quality animation, this show has the capability to grasp your child’s attention and educate them at the same time. Some of these processes are shown in live-action and this helps them get a real-life view of how animals actually live in their natural habitat.  

What If-  This is an animated series based on Marvel Comics that showcases alternate storylines. It focuses on the side characters of the beloved Marvel comic storylines and has diverse representations of characters and stories. A great show to start inculcating gender equality in your kid’s content, What If displays a spectacular range of engaging stories like a female soldier who is accidentally given the super-soldier serum and becomes Captain America, or The Black panther becomes the next Star-Lord in the Guardians of the Galaxy. This show challenges your kid’s norms by constantly re-inventing what it means to be a superhero through their engaging and innovative storylines.  

Cesar Millan, Better Human, Better Dog- This show revolves around a dog trainer who delves deeper and tries to find the root of canine behavior. It is an interesting watch for your older kids who are dog lovers and would like to know more about their favorite furry friends. Dog trainer Cesar Millan, dives deep into understanding canine behavior and even examines the emotional component of the owners behind the dogs. Dogs who have anger issues and are aggressive are brought to Milan, who uses his skills and experience to help assess the dog’s body language. An interesting and fun concept, this show is bound to educate and thrill your kids.   

Monsters At Work- This show is bound to leave your younger kids in splits! Revolving around Cum Laude, who just graduated from Monsters University, and his adventures at his Monsters Only workplace, this show tells the story of Tylor Tuskmon and his dream to become a Jokester, as well as his misadventures with MIFT, the crew that keeps Monsters Incorporated running. The day he arrives at Monsters Incorporated to begin his dream job as a Scarer, he learns that scaring is out and laughing is in! They don’t want Scarers… now they want Jokesters!  This change shatters Tylor’s dream… but he sets his sights on a new goal: figuring out how to be funny and becoming a Jokester. 

Phineas and Ferb, an animated comedy series, follows the adventures of Phineas Flynn and his English stepbrother, Ferb Fletcher, on their summer vacation. Each day, the boys and their friends take on some ambitious new project, sometimes to help someone in need, but often just to create something fun. This annoys the boys’ sister, Candace, who constantly attempts to get them in trouble by revealing their actions to Mom. Meanwhile, across town, the wannabe-evil scientist Dr. Doofenshmirtz continually attempts to take over the Tri-State area, and Perry the Platypus, the boys’ pet and a secret agent, consistently foils his plans on behalf of the O.W.C.A and his commanding officer, Major Mongram. At the end of each episode, the two plots intersect to erase all traces of the boys’ project just before Candace can successfully show it to Mom.
