Learning about science from an early age makes kids more curious, questions things around them, and think for themselves.

Make a science-friendly household and start children early on their science journey with these fun science projects for preschoolers that can easily be done at home:

  1. Music With Water

Kids are going to have great fun with this super simple activity from Hands On As We Grow. Let them explore the science of sound, and get hands-on learning about how sound waves travel. Kids will find their own way of making sense of what is happening, and have a whole lot of fun while learning

This fizzy ice experiment from Toddler Approved is going to be a delight for kids! They get a little science lesson as they engage in sensory play, and also get totally involved with playing with different colours.

3. Dancing Raisins

Check out Elearnin’s pepper experiment. The basic concept of surface tension presents itself beautifully in this simple science experiment that can be used to explain various other concepts – like why we should wash our hands with soap!

5. Light Refraction Experiment

Another simple experiment that you can pull together with just a handful of household materials lying around! This experiment from Science Sparks will have kids explore the nature of light, and how it behaves in different mediums and surfaces.
