1. Anne With An E

Based on the classic book “Anne of Green Gables”, this series follows the orphan Anne as she transforms the lives of the people she is mistakenly sent to live with. Her infectious positivity and endearing spirit will make you fall in love with the show.

Suitable for kids over the age of 10, this show, based on the popular book series of the same name, is horror fiction for kids at its finest! What’s appealing for kids is that the show doesn’t treat kids (the intended audience) like kids, choosing instead to treat them as adults. A refreshing show very different from other children’s shows out there, it can get violent at times so parent’s discretion is advised.

You may have been living under a rock if Baby Yoda hasn’t still captured your heart. It’s hard to ignore his presence on social media and in memes and forwards. Whether you’re a Star Wars fan or not, don’t miss watching The Mandalorian – it’s an entertaining and action filled sci-fi adventure perfect for family viewing!

4. How It’s Made

Although it’s technically a YouTube channel, this series by Discovery consists of 3-5 minute clips of videos explaining how various things are made. This is educational and fascinating for kids, and help pique their interest in science projects that they can do at home!

This Australian series is a fun show made for kids, about a group of kids who form an investigation agency. Probably the Enid Blyton-style children detective stories for this generation, The InBESTigators is good fun for kids.

6. Phineas and Ferb

Phineas and Ferb never fail to entertain with slew of crazy ideas, failed science experiments at home, the roster of funny characters, and of course – Perry the Platypus! Enjoyable for adults too, this makes for a fun way to spend time, and also works as inspiration for crazy ideas for your kids (beware!).
